Who manages the community?

The board of directors often engages contractors to perform various maintenance jobs.
• The members elect a board of directors, which makes the day-to-day decisions. This way decisions may be made efficiently and in the best interest of the community.
• The co-op may contract for day-to-day operations and tasks like landscaping, snow plowing and major repairs. Employees are chosen by the Board of Directors through a multiple-bidding and reputation process.
• Employees work under the direction of the board and Office Manager. The board oversees outside contractors to ensure they are meeting the requirements of the contract.
